RTC in PIC18

Has anyone got the RTC to work for PIC18? Strangely, after I added the code for initializing the RTC, my LCD won't display anything...and when i add the code for reading from RTC, my keypad won't respond.

Double check you're using the right ports and pin for the RTC, and that you have the jumpers attached properly?

Did you guys make any changes to Emami's i2c and rtc files? (other than the include directive for pic18)

You need to go through and change any movfw commands, because those don't work for pic18. But that's it

  •  Finally figured it out, banksel fucks up your tables. You need to add banksel NAMEOFTABLE before using table display macros
