PIC18 LCD problem
for those who's going to use pic18, it mentions that there's a LCD issue with pic18. Does anyone know exactly how to solve this problem (ie: how to connect pic18 with LCD and keypad using breadboard or something else)?

so we need the 40 pin version of pic184620, that's I/P? i was under the impression that it goes into a different slot than the pic16 that it came with

You want the 40 pin, and it goes in the same slot the PIC16F877 was in initially.

My pic16 was kinda jammed in there, so it took some time and effort, but follow the instructions in chapter 2 and it'll work out okay
