Simulating/Compiling/Programming under Linux (and possibly Mac)

Just got the development board to work with a bunch of open source packages under Linux.

No, I don't mean emulating MPLab or using Virtualization.

Simulation, compilation (even C) and programming are all no problem. If you have a Mac, this may be a solution for you too. (Disclaimer: I have no clue about Macs.)

I'm too lazy to write down all the steps here, but if anyone is interested, shoot me an email and I'll try to help you out :)
