For those using the RTC, does it add 2 seconds sometimes for you too/what are you doing about it?

Yes. It's probably because it rounds up sometimes... I haven't figured out a solution for that yet. I just set up the RTC about 50 seconds behind the actual time so I could deceive the TA
Lol, okay I'll probably leave it then, or delete the seconds display XD
It's actually doing exactly what it should, the culprit is the LCD. The problem here is that there is a finite, nonzero time that it takes for the LCD to refresh and display the new time, and since this lag builds up over a few refreshes, then there is a chance that one of the refreshes takes a look at the RTC data just as it changes value, thus you get a 2 second jump in display value. But in reality, using a stopwatch, I think you'd find that it measures a period of, let's say, 10 seconds accurately (I've noticed that this 2 sec jump happens once every 10 seconds so you would observe it during the mini-experiment)
wait, does both 16 and 18 do this? Cause I'm using 18 and I haven't had this problem
