One quick question, how to reset the microchip board after u download/run code on it?
Closing mplab or pressing clean/reset button does not work (in my case)?

why do you want to reset it? can't you just download new code onto it? (based on the book and documentation it looks like if you didn't export the code that was on it, you've lost that code)

just kindly confused since it does not work the same way as de2 lol

Press the reset button on the board! It's on top of the PIC16F877 slot. Alternatively, you can use PICUSB to reset it to factory default.
