PIC18 LCD problem
for those who's going to use pic18, it mentions that there's a LCD issue with pic18. Does anyone know exactly how to solve this problem (ie: how to connect pic18 with LCD and keypad using breadboard or something else)?

I've ordered the sample, but since it's not arriving within 2 weeks, I'll get one pic18 from emami next Tuesday.

there are several models of pic18f4620 tho like Leads, Package Type, Temp Range, Packing, etc.

oh u mean ordering sample? just choose the one with I/P at the end of the name.

I'm not exactly sure what I/P means, but it has 40 pin and fits into the board we got

I'm not sure, but if the issue with the LCD is that it only displays one line instead of two, you just need to add a few small delays (about 200us total) to your Write_Instruction function

uhh, have you tried it out, cause I think the problem is that LCD doesn't display letters

Yeah I tried it and mine works. Again, try adding extra delay into the write_data instruction as well?

okk, so u r using pic18f4620, and u take the pic16 on the board out and put f4620 into the board?
