Board not responding!!

I have a problem!! Something wrong happened while I was trying to download code onto the devbugger board, and now my board has gone into deadlock, and the busy light just keeps pulsing on and off. I can't download code to it anymore because my computer won't recognize the device anymore - does anyone know if this can be fixed?

I did it by closing PICusb, turning the board off. Then, opening PICusb (board is still off), then opening the board and click check communication on PICusb.

Thank you!! I fixed the problem - using your advice I found out that I was in Bootloader mode, so I just redownloaded the program firmware to the pic18 and things are working again
